Design is in the details! When we develop elevation drawings (shown below) for our clients, we not only add cabinetry and millwork details to the drawings, but we often add such details as lighting fixtures and furniture pieces that have been selected for the project. The addition of these details are helpful to demonstrate to our clients (and to us) that the scale of these pieces are appropriate for the space; it also gives our clients a glimpse of what their space will look like when their project is complete.
When we develop drawings for our clients, we often add such details as lighting fixtures to them. We look at a photo of the fixture and translate it into the elevation at the correct scale.
